Fourth of July Celebration at The Landings

The Fourth of July Celebration at Deer Creek is a long-standing and beloved tradition for residents of The Landings on Skidaway Island. Each year, the community gathers at the Deer Creek Driving Range for an evening filled with family fun, live music, local food, and one of the most impressive fireworks displays in coastal Georgia.

Time: Festivities begin at 5:00 PM
Location: Deer Creek Driving Range, The Landings
Fireworks: Scheduled to begin between 9:00 and 9:15 PM

This year’s display promises to be even more spectacular, with the fireworks budget doubled for an elevated experience.

Family Activities

Children can enjoy a wide range of activities including fair rides, waterslides, and inflatable obstacle courses.

  • All children’s activities require a wristband and signed waiver, available at the booth in front of the large American flag at the front of the range.
  • A bathing suit and towel are recommended for those participating in water activities.
  • Activities will close at sunset for safety and to prepare for the fireworks display.

Food and Beverages

  • Seven local food trucks will be on-site from 5:00 to 9:00 PM. Please note that food vendors will not accept member numbers—bring cash or a credit card for purchases.
  • Alcohol tents will accept both member numbers and credit cards, with member pricing available.

Important Logistics

  • Royal Restrooms will be located near the end of the range by the clubhouse.
  • The Deer Creek Clubhouse will be closed during the event.
  • Tents, chairs, or personal belongings may not be placed in the front/top section of the range, as this space is reserved for event activities. Items placed there in advance will be removed.
  • Golf carts are strongly encouraged for transportation to and from the event. However, golf carts are not allowed on the driving range.
  • Security personnel will be on site to assist with on-street parking.
